How to connect Loop Returns to Datadrew

Last updated on Jul 07, 2026

What data does Datadrew pull from Loop Returns?

Connecting Loop Returns to Datadrew gives you access to your returns and exchanges data, including return requests, return reasons, exchange orders, refund amounts, destinations, and return shipping data. This helps you track return rates, identify products with high return rates, analyze return reasons, and measure the revenue retained through exchanges versus refunds.

⚠️ Plan requirement: Loop Returns API access requires the Essential plan or higher. If you are on a lower plan, you will need to upgrade before connecting to Datadrew. See Loop Returns' pricing page for current plan details.

Troubleshooting

  • "Unauthorized" or "Forbidden" error: Verify that your Loop Returns plan includes API access (Essential plan or higher). Lower-tier plans do not support API keys. Check Loop Returns' pricing page for details.
  • "Developer tools" not visible: This feature may need to be manually enabled by Loop Returns support even on eligible plans. Contact support@loopreturns.com and request that Developer tools be enabled for your account.
  • Missing data categories: Ensure you selected Read scopes for Return, Order, Report, and Destinations when generating the API key. Without these scopes, some data will not sync.
  • API key not working: Double-check that you copied the complete key. If unsure, generate a new key in Loop Returns and update the credential in Datadrew.
