What data does Datadrew pull from ShipBob?

Connecting ShipBob to Datadrew gives you visibility into your fulfillment operations. Datadrew syncs data including orders, shipments, inventory levels, warehouse performance, and return tracking — allowing you to analyze fulfillment speed, shipping costs, and inventory health alongside your other e-commerce data.

Prerequisites

• An active ShipBob account (any plan)
• Admin or account owner access to generate API tokens

Step-by-step: Generate your ShipBob API key

1. Log in to your ShipBob Merchant Dashboard.
2. Navigate to Integrations in the left sidebar.
3. Click API Tokens.
4. Click Generate PAT (Personal Access Token).
5. Give your token a descriptive name (e.g., "Datadrew Integration").
6. Copy the generated token immediately — you will need it in the next step.

Good to know: ShipBob PATs never expire and do not require any approval process. They are self-serve and available on all plans.

What to enter in Datadrew

1. In your Datadrew dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations.
2. Find ShipBob and click Connect.
3. Paste your Personal Access Token into the API Key field.
4. Click Save to complete the connection.

Troubleshooting

• Token not working? ShipBob uses Bearer token authentication. Make sure you copied the full token string without any extra spaces.
• Permission errors? Ensure you are logged in as an admin or account owner. Standard users may not have access to generate API tokens.
• "Integration" menu missing? Try logging out and back in, or contact ShipBob support to verify your account permissions.
• Data not syncing? After connecting, allow up to 24 hours for the initial data sync to complete. If data is still missing, disconnect and reconnect the integration.
