Annual vs. monthly billing

Annual vs. Monthly Billing Datadrew offers both monthly and annual billing options for the Essentials and Pro plans. Here is what you need to know to decide which is right for you. Pricing Comparison | | | | | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Plan | Monthly | Annual | Annual Savings | | Essentials (starting at) | $99/mo | $990/yr ($82.50/mo) | 2 months free | | Pro (starting at) | $149/mo | $1,490/yr ($124.17/mo) | 2 months free | Note: Actual pricing depends on your store's annual GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume). The prices above are starting prices for the lowest GMV tier. How Annual Billing Works - Pay for 10 months, get 12: Annual plans are priced at 10x the monthly rate, giving you two months free each year. - One payment: Shopify charges the full annual amount upfront through your existing payment method. - 14-day trial: Annual plans include the same 14-day free trial as monthly plans. You are not charged until the trial ends. Switching From Monthly to Annual 1. Go to Settings > Billing in Datadrew. 2. Select the annual version of your current plan. 3. Confirm the switch. Shopify will prorate the remaining balance from your monthly subscription and apply it to the annual charge. Switching From Annual to Monthly If you switch from annual to monthly billing, the change takes effect at the end of your current annual billing cycle. You will not receive a partial refund for the unused portion of the annual plan — instead, you retain full access until the annual period expires, then monthly billing begins. Which Should You Choose? - Choose monthly if you want flexibility and are trying Datadrew for the first time after your trial. - Choose annual if you are committed to data-driven growth and want to save the equivalent of two months. What happens when you downgrade or cancel

What Happens When You Downgrade or Cancel We understand that business needs change. Here is what to expect if you decide to downgrade your Datadrew plan or cancel your subscription. Downgrading Your Plan If you move from a higher plan to a lower one (for example, Pro to Essentials, or Essentials to Free), the following applies: - Timing: The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep full access to your current plan until then. - Feature access: Once the downgrade activates, features not included in your new plan will become unavailable. For example, if you downgrade from Pro to Essentials, you will lose access to Product Intelligence, basket analysis, and product cohorts. - AI credits: Your monthly credit allowance adjusts to the new plan's limit at the start of the next billing cycle (Free: 200, Essentials: 1,000, Pro: 4,000). - Data history: If you move to the Free plan, your accessible data history will be limited to the last 3 months. Your older data is not deleted — it becomes accessible again if you upgrade. - Connected stores: The Free and Essentials plans support 1 store. If you have multiple stores connected on Pro (up to 3), you will need to select which store to keep active. Cancelling Your Subscription To cancel, go to Settings > Billing and select Cancel Subscription. Here is what happens next: 1. Immediate: Your plan reverts to the Free tier at the end of the current billing cycle. 2. Data retention (30 days): After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days. During this window, you can resubscribe and pick up where you left off. 3. After 30 days: Your synced data and configuration are permanently deleted from our systems. Connected integrations are disconnected. 4. Shopify billing: No further charges will appear on your Shopify invoice after the current cycle ends. Can I Pause Instead? Datadrew does not currently offer a pause option. If you need a temporary break, consider downgrading to the Free plan instead of cancelling. This way, you keep access to basic analytics and your data remains intact. Need help? Reach out to us at support@datadrew.io before cancelling — we may be able to find a solution that works for you. Upgrading or changing your plan

Upgrading or Changing Your Plan Datadrew offers three plans — Free, Essentials, and Pro — each designed for different stages of your business growth. You can change your plan at any time directly from the app. How to Upgrade 1. Open Datadrew from your Shopify admin. 2. Go to Settings > Billing (or visit the Pricing page). 3. Select the plan you want to switch to. 4. Review the features and pricing, then confirm. 5. Shopify will process the billing change through your existing Shopify payment method. What Happens When You Upgrade - Immediate access: All features included in your new plan become available right away. - AI credits increase: Your monthly AI credit allowance adjusts to the new plan's limit (Free: 200, Essentials: 1,000, Pro: 4,000). - Data history expands: If you move from Free (3 months of historical data) to Essentials or Pro (unlimited history), your full data history becomes accessible once synced. - Prorated billing: Shopify handles prorated charges automatically. You only pay the difference for the remainder of your billing cycle. Switching Between Monthly and Annual You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time. Annual plans offer a discount — you pay for 10 months and get 12 months of access. When switching from monthly to annual, the change takes effect immediately and Shopify handles the billing adjustment. GMV-Based Pricing Datadrew's Essentials and Pro plan pricing is based on your store's annual Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV). The app automatically calculates your GMV from the last 12 months of order data and determines your pricing tier. This means pricing scales fairly with your business size. 14-Day Free Trial All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. During the trial, you get full access to all features of the plan. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. If you cancel before the trial is over, you will not be billed. Need help choosing the right plan? How GMV-based pricing works

How GMV-Based Pricing Works Datadrew's Essentials and Pro plans use GMV-based pricing, which means your monthly price scales based on your store's Gross Merchandise Value (GMV). This ensures you pay a fair price that aligns with your store's size and revenue. What Is GMV? GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) is the total value of all sales processed through your Shopify store. Datadrew calculates your GMV based on your rolling 12-month total sales from Shopify, converted to USD for tier determination. GMV Pricing Tiers | | | | | --- | --- | --- | | Annual GMV (USD) | Essentials (Monthly) | Pro (Monthly) | | $0 - $250K | $99 | $149 | | $250K - $500K | $99 | $149 | | $500K - $1M | $99 | $149 | | $1M - $2.5M | $149 | $199 | | $2.5M - $5M | $229 | $339 | | $5M - $7.5M | $299 | $369 | | $7.5M - $10M | $369 | $449 | | $10M - $15M | $489 | $579 | | $15M - $20M | $649 | $779 | | $20M - $30M | $799 | $949 | | $30M - $40M | $1,100 | $1,300 | | $40M - $50M | $1,350 | $1,600 | | $50M+ | Contact Sales | Contact Sales | Annual Billing Discount With annual billing, you pay for 10 months instead of 12, saving approximately 17%. Annual prices are calculated as your monthly tier price multiplied by 10. For example, if your Essentials monthly price is $149, your annual price would be $1,490. How Your GMV Is Calculated 1. Datadrew queries your Shopify sales data for the past 12 months. 2. The total is converted to USD using current exchange rates (if your store uses a different currency). 3. Your GMV is matched to the appropriate pricing tier. 4. GMV data is recalculated and cached periodically (every hour) to keep pricing current. What Happens If My GMV Changes? Your pricing tier is determined at the time of subscription or renewal. If your GMV increases significantly, your tier may adjust at your next billing cycle. Datadrew will always show you the applicable price before you confirm any plan change. Stores Under $250K GMV Stores with less than $250K in annual GMV get the lowest pricing tier -- $99/month for Essentials or $149/month for Pro. If your GMV data is not yet available (new store or recent installation), Datadrew defaults to the lowest tier. Currency Conversion If your Shopify store uses a currency other than USD, Datadrew automatically converts your GMV to USD for tier determination. The conversion uses current exchange rates to ensure accurate tier placement. Need help? Contact us at support@datadrew.io if you have questions about your pricing tier.
